Why it's called PandaVillage.NET - 19 May 2006

Because www.pandavillage.net use to be a site having to do with pandas, we abandoned the project and since i own the name "pandavillage.net" and paid for it , I just Kept it and changed it into what it is now.

A Fresh New Start - 18 May 2006

Ok, lets try this again. Brand New File Manager, Brand new News Page. No more "different passwords for each group".

Things are more Unified now, it can't possibly get any easier than this.

Forget all the passwords, there is only 1 now.

Username &Password to ADD NEWS is the same as the password for the File Share.

username = the name of the school you go to (all lower case, no spaces)
password = what are you at this school? staff? teacher?


Password keeps people from vandalizing the news pages and uploading viruses to the file share.

hey justin..

i don't think anyone knows whats going on.. Chuck told me the other day that we do indeed start set design on wed. but I emailed him earlier to ask the time and he said he still isn't even sure and he's heard that it may start on thursday now. so who knows.. If i find anything else out, I'll post it on here..!

Production Design - 31 May 2006

Thanks to Ben Ruben, we now have the entire set rendered to scale in 3D. Everything is online for your perusal. The 9MB ZIP file contains a bunch of images of the set, a video walkthrough of the design, and a Quicktime VR file allowing you to pan back and forth in the living/kitchen area. I also placed the list of essential props for the production on here for Josh and Chet to get ahold of. It will be updated as necessary.

Please upload the latest script, in the name put what version it is.

Storyboards
Please check out the storyboards.zip and storyboards (full quality).zip files. Label what version number they are. v2? v3?

Shot List
Same thing, version numbers are very handy.


Just click rename and add on the version #. This way we're all on the same page, and know wheather or not we have the latest scripts/storyboards/shot lists.

Chug-o-Matic logo - 22 May 2006

I uploaded a possible logo for the Chug-o-Matic. Its not much but my computer crashed this weekend so its all I have been able to get done on it.

Check it out and let me know what you think. If anybody has any other ideas let me know.

I'm Compressing the Shot Description files - 22 May 2006

- Chug_Shot_Description_pt_1-9.doc (54mb total)
- Storyboards.zip (0.7mb)
- Storyboards (full quality for wrap book).zip (4mb)
= all the same thing, pictures of the storyboards

The original storyboard images were placed inside a Word file (which made them 6mb each X 9 files... too big). I took the images out and placed them in zip files (Storyboards.zip)

In the future lets try to keep images compressed (.jpg) and shove them in one zip file so you can upload them (and other can download them) in one go. Unless you purposely want the images uncompressed full quality.

Set Construction Diagrams Now Online - 20 May 2006

I've uploaded a zip file including elevation and overhead views for the Kitchen/Living room set and Home Bathroom. Also included are overheads of the Board Room and Corporate Bathroom. The on-location diagrams are not to scale but are really only intended for camera placement so that shouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, the transfer from draft file to TIFF necessitated some weirdness such as some pages being bigger than others. To clear up any confusion this may cause, I will be bringing in a hard copy of everything to the next meeting. Any questions please contact me via phone or e-mail.
